Generous Specification
Panoramic roof, power tailgate, tri-zone climate control and dual 12.3″ HD screens all come as standard. The 1.5L turbo hybrid powertrain draws on a sizeable 24.7kWh battery to deliver a 100 km^ EV-only range.

Battery Warranty 8-Year
When everything else is shifting – schedules, seats, weather – you need one thing that doesn’t. The MGS9 PHEV+ is built to be that thing. It comes with a car warranty is 5-year of 150,000km, battery warranty is 7-year or 150,000 km.
7 Real Seats (Not 5 + 2)
The MGS9 PHEV+ seats seven adults across three full rows – including a third row that doesn’t require a formal apology to whoever sits there.
Switch from seven to five to two like a well-rehearsed hokey cokey, as the sliding second row adjusts to balance legroom and boot space so nobody loses out. And when all seven are up, there’s still a genuinely usable boot.
Most 7-seaters make you choose between the seats and the space. The MGS9 PHEV+ doesn’t.
Room for Anything
Drop the second and third rows and the MGS9 Plug-in Hybrid stops being a 7-seater and starts being useful in an entirely different way.
At 2,093 litres with both rows folded, this is the boot for impromptu flatpack runs, borrowed surfboards, and the kind of optimistic reclamation yard trips that somehow always escalate.
The sensor-operated Smart Tailgate opens hands-free – useful when your hands are full, which with this much space, they frequently will be.

Bluetooth connection, Apple CarPlayTM and Android AutoTM, five USB ports distributed across all three rows – and an eight-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat that remembers exactly where you like to be come as standard. They’re the kind of thoughtful details you don’t notice until you drive something without them.
Electric First Efficiency
The MGS9 Plug-in Hybrid’s 100 km^ EV-only range covers the school run, the commute and the Saturday morning chaos without touching a drop of fuel – think of it as having an EV for the daily routine. When the journey demands more, the 1.5L turbo petrol engine is there when you need it. Which, for most days, you probably won’t.

Smooth Power
Combined output from the MGS9 PHEV+’s powertrain reaches 299 PS – just one horse short of 300. It gets from rest to 100 km/h in 9.6 seconds and returns an impressive mpg on the WLTP combined cycle. All this combines to deliver the kind of smooth operation that Sade probably had in mind.
Quiet Protection
Seven seats means more people to protect. The MGS9 PHEV+ holds a 5-star Euro NCAP rating – the highest available, with strong scores across passenger protection. Beneath the surface, a high-strength steel chassis and seven airbags – front, side, curtain and central – wrap every occupant in comprehensive, quietly reassuring protection.
